Dance Extended Diploma
DANCE EXTENDED DIPLOMA
Our Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dance is designed to encourage you to develop as an independent dance artist and grow into a confident, creative practitioner. Under Artistic Director Helen Wilson of RISE Youth Dance and a team of professional dancers and choreographers, the course will develop your technical, creative and performance skills. The course format is similar to that of a dance conservatoire, tailored to 16-18 year olds.
Qualification.
RSL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative and Performing Arts - Dance Pathway worth up to 168 Points - equivalent to 3 A* A Levels.
Course structure.
Throughout the two years you’ll have different technique classes a week. Every week there will be different contemporary technique classes, ballet classes and street dance technique classes such as: House, funk socials, Hip hop.

Use other fitness forms to improve your performance
Apply principles from the established practitioners that teach you
Work with guest artists from other forms to produce collaborative performance work
