This new boomsatsuma BA (Hons) Filmmaking course has been co-created by industry and leading professional partners, to immerse you in the exciting world of film and TV production, giving you the knowledge, skills and contacts to embark on a career in this ever expanding sector.
course overview.
You will gain a wide understanding of the vital roles production and post-production professionals undertake in augmenting cinematic projects. We will equip you with detailed knowledge about the production workflow and management processes, mastering the tools and technology at your disposal.
You will Collaborate directly with key Bristol industry partners: Films@59, BBC Bristol and The Bottle Yard Studios.
This degree allows you to follow one of two pathways: production or post-production to enable you to develop specialist skills in your chosen area whilst the shared teaching means you will also learn where your specialisation sits and how to develop crucial working relationships across the process as a whole.
