Y10: Start here

Why do it? You will find out what job sectors might suit you by doing a quiz and find out what skills you have. You will explore the post 16 options but also start thinking about work experience.

1: Register or sign in on Careerpilot and you can save all your choices until you are 21

2. Do the job sectors quiz (if not done before) to find out which sectors might give you what you want or do 'start with a subject' to get job ideas. Explore My job sectors and look at job profiles or review your previous choices in 'My Job Sectors' if you have used this before.

2: Explore Choices at 16 and look at one in detail. Explore the Finding a job/work experience section (in jobs) if you are doing this in Y10.

3: Look at Qualifications and tag the GCSEs you hope to get and the qualifications you might do  in the future.in My Qualifications add you predicted grades.

4.  Do the Skills Profile or add to your Skills Bank if you have done this before, (this info will be useful when you are applying for work experience)

To save or view your choices and results you must sign in or register (takes 1 minute).
