Finding a job/experience

CV Builder

CV, which stands for curriculum vitae, it is a document used when applying for jobs. It allows you to summarise your education, skills and experience

Why a CV?

Some employers will request your CV when you are applying for a work experience but not always. However, as you get older and are looking for work employers will more often want you to send them your CV.

Also, if you have your CV that is up to date then you can send this to employers and ask whether they have any jobs

Here is an example of a basic CV. When you are in Y10 and 11 you might not have much work experience to mention so you can focus on your skills and interests.

There are loads of good CV templates you can look for online but be aware, they often charge (right at the end after you have done all the work!).
