Quick career activities explained
The Careerpilot Team - who are all are qualified career advisers and ex-teachers, have developed a set of quick careers activities for every year group from Year 7-13, which aim to support students in:
- Exploring future study and careers
- Developing their career skills for life, learning and work
- Preparing them for the next career decisions they will have to make.
The resources are 15-20 minutes long and are designed to be delivered in tutor time with minimal preparation.
NB. You will need to log in to Careerpilot with your Member's Admin Access to download these resources - see below.
The short careers resources include:
- Careerpilot Assemblies - for KS3-5 to introduce students to Careerpilot and support them to explore future careers and options.
- Quick careers activities - for every year group that require students to have online access to Careerpilot.
- Fun careers activities - for KS3 and 4 that don't require student online access.
- Careers homework activities - for each year group.
- Hot Jobs short lesson activities - can be found as part of our Hot Jobs LMI Resources with activities to explore jobs that are predicted to grow in the Health, Green and Digital & IT sectors.
- A short video that you may use to get students registered on Careerpilot if they don't yet have an account.
