Set up Careerpilot Admin Access

Set up access to Careerpilot - Funded or Subscription?

Are you in our fully funded area?

The Careerpilot platform includes the following:

  • Student Zone
  • Parent Zone
  • Adviser Zone
  • Reporting Zone
  • And the optional add-on - the Pathway Planner - a triage tool to assess the guidance needs of Y10+

If you are a state secondary or SEND school in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire or Swindon and some schools in Berks, then access to all 4 zones of Careerpilot and the Pathway Planner will be free. The reason the site is free-to-use in this region is because a number of universities, Uni Connect projects and Careers Hubs pay subscriptions to fund this.

Even in the fully funded area, to get access to all parts of Careerpilot you will need to complete the process to set up your admin password.

Please check whether your school already has a subscription and find out how to get an admin login if you haven't got one. If you already have a Careerpilot admin login sign in now.

If you don't yet have an admin password, contact the Careerpilot helpline at careerpilot@bath.ac.uk

Outside the funded area? Subscribe to access Careerpilot.

*Special new year prices!*

Mainstream schools - sign up for admin access to Careerpilot and Pathway Planner for £500 for now until July 2025. Usual annual subscription is £700 per annum.

SEND schools outside the funded subscription area can subscribe to Careerpilot for £150 per year (or £200 with Pathway Planner included) from now until July 2025 - costs are usually £250 per year (or £350 to include Pathway Planner).

Setting up a subscription to Careerpilot gives you a range of exclusive benefits:

Student Zone - Your students will be able to choose your school/college at registration. Once registered or logged in (top right of home page) students can begin 'tagging' the choices and jobs they are interested in to save them to their Career Tools Report which you can view in the Reporting Zone, along with their results from activities and quizzes they have completed.

Parent Zone - You will have exclusive access to live webinars for your parents and carers on Choices at 16 and 18 - run by the Careerpilot Team.

Reporting Zone - You will be able to access student data in the Reporting Zone. You can view individual and group reports to show the choices young people are making about jobs, qualifications and providers and results from any Careerpilot quizzes that have completed e.g. job sectors, Skills Profile, subjects they love, etc.

Pathway Planner - You can choose , as an additional add-on to have the Pathway Planner triage tool, which assesses the guidance needs of Y10+ students so you can provide effective, efficient and targeted personal guidance, at three levels.
