Set up Careerpilot Admin Access

Set up access to Careerpilot - Funded or Subscription?

Are you in our fully funded area?

If you are a state secondary, college or SEND school in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire or Swindon, then access to all areas of the Careerpilot website will be free. The reason the site is free-to-use in this region is because a number of universities and Uni Connect projects pay subscriptions to fund this. You just need to contact us to request full admin access and we can get this set up for your school or college.

Setting up full admin access to Careerpilot gives you a range of exclusive benefits:

Student Zone - Your students will be able to choose your school/college at registration. Once registered or logged in (top right of home page) students can begin saving the choices and jobs they are interested in to their Career Tools Report which you can view in the Reporting Zone, along with their results from activities and quizzes they have completed.

Adviser Zone - Your admin login will give you access to all the careers resources in the Adviser Zone including five career lessons for every year group, 20 minute tutor time career sessions, Hot Job LMI posters and activities for subject teachers.

Reporting Zone - You will be able to access student data in the Reporting Zone. You can view individual and group reports to show the choices young people are making about jobs, qualifications and providers and results from any Careerpilot quizzes that have completed.

How to set up access to Careerpilot

If you don't yet have an admin password or want to check if one exists in your school, contact the Careerpilot Helpline at careerpilot@bath.ac.uk

To request admin access a member of SLT will need to sign a Data Sharing Agreement and tell us who will be your school/colleges' password keeper, they will then be given an admin password and can set up other staff.

Outside the funded area?

Subscriptions to access the Adviser Zone and Reporting Zone are now closed for this academic year for schools outside our funded area. However, students can still set up a free account on Careerpilot to use all the tools and activities on the main site and all schools can share access to the Parent Zone with parents and carers.
