The Royal Agricultural University (RAU) in Gloucestershire has been at the forefront of agricultural education for 175 years. Our stunning campus, within walking distance of the bustling town of Cirencester, is surrounded by beautiful Cotswold countryside and is also within striking distance of urban adventure.
Today, we have over 1,100 students studying with us across courses in agriculture, business, environment, wildlife, equine, real estate and land management. Students on all courses can take part in our award-winning Enterprise Programme which enables students to develop their entrepreneurial skills. In 2019 the University was awarded the Enterprising Learning Provider of the Year 2019 award by the IOEE.
We ranked in the Top 10 at the Whatuni Student Choice Awards in 2019 and 2020 in both the Job Prospects and University of the Year categories, based on feedback from our students.
