If you have an interest in fishing there are a variety of careers you can explore. If you live by the coast, especially in Devon and Cornwall you might be able to get work on a fishing trawler.
There are also a few specialist colleges such as Sparsholt College that offer courses in Fishery and Aquatics. This training could enable you to go into fish farming - freshwater fish or exotic and ornamental fish like carp.
Other fish related jobs include working for the Environment Agency who look after UK rivers, working in an aquarium, working in fish nutrition for tackle and bait manufacturers or as an angling coach.
