Made up of the Army, The Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy the Armed Forces employ over 200,000 people full time, and in the reserves.
There are a huge variety of jobs ranging from medical, logistics, communications, technical and engineering, weapons and infantry.
On joining the armed forces you’ll be assigned a rank and will then be able to progress to higher ranks. If you have a certain level of achievement at GCSE and A levels or equivalent you could apply to join as an officer and take on a leadership role.
