Specsavers Unlock Business Horizons: Virtual Work Experience with Specsavers (springpod.com). Work experience opportunity within Optics and Audiology as well as some of the roles we have within our support offices (which are in England).
As part of the work experience there are modules on STEM roles at Specsavers, however the majority of the modules are focussed on support office functions (which are in Southampton, Guernsey and Nottingham). Students have to complete all modules to receive the certificate.
The deadline to sign up is 8/2/24 and the virtual work experience runs from 12/2 – 25/2/24.

Go behind the scenes in one of the countries most popular Zoos. There are lots of interactive activities available including An interview with a Zookeeper, inside the Zoo and how to get involved.
The free programme, which combines live webinars, videos, and activities, has seen 1,164 young people log-in and learn about how engineering and technology build a more sustainable future.
The programme will offer Year 12 students the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience through both online and in-person STEM placements – connecting you to experts at universities and in industry working on the cutting edge of research and innovation.
Year 12 Students undertake a STEAM based research project, working within an employer or academic research environment. The placement runs for around 2/3 weeks virtually during the Summer, enabling students to work with qualified professionals and experts.
