Post 16 Resources

All of the following resources can be downloaded and used for free with students - some are starter activities and will take between 10-15 mins.

Other resources are designed to take up the majority of the lesson and will take a minimum of 30 minutes to complete.

Students use the site to find out more about post 18 qualifications and research the qualifications achieved by 2 famous people.

Activity 3.1 - Is University for me? - 30 mins

Students use the site to find out more about support available for university courses and research two relevant degree courses

Activity 4.1 - Student Finance - 30 mins

Students complete a quiz to estimate how much everyday items cost to help them think about the money needed for living away from home. They then use a budget calculator to find out how much it costs to attend university and how much they might be entitled to using the Student Finance Calculator.

Students use the site to find out the answers to the questions on the Careerpilot quiz.
